| We have recently become aware of a group of individuals from the Ontario, Canada area who have placed advertisements in small newspapers across the United States using the Debt Free logo. The newspaper advertisements offer to make loans (1st and 2nd mortgages, credit lines, personal loans, debt consolidation loans) and state that "No Application is Refused". |

The telephone numbers that have recently been used by the individuals placing the ads are:

| Please be aware that Debt Free is NOT affiliated with the individuals placing the newspaper advertisements or answering the telephone at the numbers listed in the newspaper advertisements. In order to reach Debt Free, you should call one of the numbers listed on this site only or in one of our television commercials. The numbers listed in the newspaper advertisements are NOT Debt Free telephone numbers. Furthermore, all mail meant to be delivered to Debt Free should be addressed to the Tempe, Arizona P.O. Box listed on this site. Debt Free does NOT operate in Canada, nor does it have a mailing address in any state other than Arizona. |

| If you have seen a newspaper advertisement offering to lend money under the Debt Free logo, please call us at 866-814-3332 or 800-997-2304. We also urge you to call the Ontario Provincial Police at 888-495-8501. We have been told that consumers calling the numbers listed in the newspaper advertisements receive a call-back and are asked to pay a loan application fee or processing fee that can be as high as several thousand dollars. However, after the fee is wired or mailed, no loan is processed and the consumer never receives any loan proceeds. This appears to be a scam, and the people behind it are illegally using legitimate business logos such as the Debt Free logo. |
